Jacob Price, a redshirt junior, was named the Atlantic Sun Conference Pitcher of the Week on May 11 for the second week in a row.

This recognition highlights Price’s recent performances on the mound. He earned a win on Saturday at Austin Peay by allowing only one run on five hits and one walk over seven innings. During that game, he struck out six batters and held opponents to a .200 batting average.

In his last two starts, Price has allowed just one run across 14 innings pitched. Over those outings, he gave up nine hits and two walks while striking out 14 batters.

Following his most recent victory, Price now holds a record of 5-3 this season with an earned run average of 4.97. Within the conference, he is ranked second in innings pitched (79.2), tied for ninth in strikeouts (63), ninth in wins, and tenth with a .260 opposing batting average.

The Colonels are set to finish their season with three games at Bellarmine beginning Thursday at 3 p.m.
