On Monday, March 24, former Madison County Day Treatment standout Kayla McPherson’s current collegiate team the North Carolina Tar Heels won 58-47 against the West Virginia Mountaineers in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.
Hosted in Carmichael Arena, this was the first game against the West Virginia Mountaineers during the championship.
Kayla McPherson’s hometown is Hull and game position is guard.
