On Saturday, March 22, former Madison County Day Treatment standout Kayla McPherson’s current collegiate team the North Carolina Tar Heels won 70-49 against the Oregon State Beavers in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.
Hosted in Carmichael Arena, this was the first game against the Oregon State Beavers during the championship.
The North Carolina Tar Heels’ next game will take place on Monday, March 24 at 7 p.m. in Carmichael Arena against West Virginia Mountaineers.
Kayla McPherson’s hometown is Hull and game position is guard.
