On Saturday, March 1, former Madison Southern High School standout Cam Hughes’ current college team, the Manchester Spartans, lost 12-11 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Christopher Newport Captains.

The game took place at Cal Ripken Experience. This was their first matchup against the Captains this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Monday, March 3 at 11 a.m. at Cal Ripken Experience against Mary Washington Eagles.
