On Tuesday, Feb. 25, former Madison Central High School standout John Girard’s current college team, the Hanover Panthers, won 7-6 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Piedmont Lions.
The game took place at Loudermilk Field. This was their first matchup against the Lions this season.
The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 4 p.m. at Hermance Stadium against Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels.
