Stanton sees 6.5% rise in Medicaid spending on radiology procedures in 2024

Providers participating in Medicaid in Stanton submitted $164 in claims for Radiology Procedures in 2024, according to figures from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Medicaid Provider Spending database. This reflects a 6.5% uptick from 2023, when claims for these services totaled $154.

Medicaid is a government health insurance program organized by state agencies and funded by both federal and state governments. It delivers coverage to low-income populations, seniors, kids, and people with disabilities, making it one of the largest segments of the U.S. health care framework.

While several service groups saw increased Medicaid disbursements, Radiology Procedures placed eighth by cumulative payments in Stanton for 2024.
