Graduates earn 305 degrees from Berea College

About 9.8 percent of the 305 degrees and certificates handed out by Berea College in 2017-18 were to students in biological and biomedical sciences programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Berea conferred 30 bachelor's degrees in biological and biomedical sciences programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general biology/biological sciences. Data shows the school gave out 30 bachelor's degrees in general biology/biological sciences, followed by 22 bachelor's degrees in general computer and information sciences and 20 bachelor's degrees in manufacturing engineering technology/technician.

The college enrolled 1,673 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
