Davila Named Conference Player of the Week
Brenda Davila of the Berea College volleyball team has been named Collegiate Conference of the South Volleyball Player of the Week, conference officials announced Monday afternoon.
In three games for the Mountaineers, Davila notched 14 total kills and two blocks as Berea finished 3-0. In a three-set win over Maryville College on Tuesday night, the sophomore recorded eight kills and two aces to help the Mountaineers snap the Scots' 40-game regular season conference winning streak.
This is the San Antonio, Texas native's first weekly honors of the season and the first of her career.
