2021 has 7.1% of Estill County residents unemployed

Estill County recorded an unemployment rate of 7.1% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 381 people out of the 14,157 living in Estill County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Estill County has decreased compared to the 10.1% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Estill County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.3%.
