Kristian Imroth of Eastern Kentucky University secured third place in the men’s steeplechase at the NCAA Outdoor Championships on June 13. His performance adds to EKU’s history of strong showings at this national event.
Brighter Jepchumba of Eastern Kentucky University earned second team All-America honors after finishing 16th in the women’s 10,000 meters at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. She will compete again with teammate Edna Chelulei in Saturday’s women’s 5,000 meter race.
Miguel Baidal earned second team All-America honors with a ninth-place finish in the men’s 10,000 meters at Hayward Field during this year’s NCAA Outdoor Championships. Kristian Imroth advanced to Friday’s steeplechase final while Brighter Jepchumba prepares for her upcoming race.
